Hello everyone and welcome to an Isolation tape with L.S. John and Dave

What I have to say is quite a nice sunny day where I am

But L.S. I believe you're drowning in noise

Yeah, someone's bought the next store flat

Not directly next store, it's the basement flat next store

And they're having it rewired and refurved

And damp proofed

And they said to me, oh it was uninhabitable

But the problem is it's extraordinarily noisy

So now I know what it must have been like to work on the channel tunnel

Because it's not little drills like you do if you were putting it in the shelf

But it feels like they're drilling into the centre of the earth

But they said, we're finished by 2pm and its 5pm and it seems to have finished

So we should be able to get away with it

Unfortunately for the listeners, the nightmare scenario was that I was going to have to broadcast on the car

Which I was quite looking forward to doing but I think we've got away with it

It's not their fault and there's nothing they can do about it

And there's nothing I can do about it but considering what I do for a job

It couldn't be more inconvenient

But it's, I mean next door to me had some work done only for a couple of days about 2 years ago
