and whether your child is ready for the predicted next steps,

is a gap year.

Our speaker today will talk about how a gap year after high school offers a chance to pursue

interests and consider opportunities and take stock of life. And in fact, an increasing number of

colleges encourage their incoming freshmen to take this year to mature to learn life

skills to find a direction to clear their heads of school stress and experiment with

independent living.
