I'm Dave Anderson.

It's time for our Friday. Two minute

warning edition. Post it on Fridays, as you should know by now, to give you something to think about

watch for or to do to finish your week strong and maximize your weekend. I will also include an

occasional red zone rant, and that happens today. Here's my topic,

life rewards action. If you listen to our normal, longer version podcast, you know that I always

end with a call to action. And I am sick and tired of people who talk to me at seminars,

take me aside, and talk about all the passion and drive and energy and what a

great attitude they have, but they're still falling so far short of the results. What's the

problem? I'll tell you what the problem is they're not taking action. Passion and drive and

energy and attitude, that stuff's all important, but it's just empty emotions if it doesn't

cause you to do something with it.

Let me tell you, think about it this way.

No one ever got a raise because they had passion and drive and the results were terrible.

I've never brought anybody in and say, you know what?

I love your attitude, man, your passion, your drive, your energy, that stuff's off the charts.

Now, your results suck and you're, and you know, everyone's always having to clean up your mess and carry your load.

But here's some more money.
