Well, hi, dear ones. Welcome back to the podcast. So happy to see you today. I'm

actually getting ready to go on a fun weekend trip to Minnesota. Many of you know that we have a house up there.

My husband grew up there. So our house got flooded. And they had so much snow and ice that apparently

the snow formed these ice dams.

And so we're going up there to try to get the repairs going so that we can do our summer

vacation there later in July. So we're heading out in just a little bit. But I wanted to let

you know something extra special that is coming. But first, I want to tell you a little story. Now, those of you who've been

around for a while, maybe you've been following along with our family journey for years,

and you probably know some of this, but years ago, when I gave up my job as a family doctor,

I really went through quite a struggle, quite a transition. And I knew

that I wanted to make the change. I felt like my kids were at this phase of life where everybody

was busy and it was really hard with two full-time working parents to show up at things we wanted to show up

with, to have the bandwidth for them that we wanted. And I knew I wanted to do it, but I was really

scared about doing it as well. And Steve and I came to sort of this, you know, like we knew

it needed to do it, but we were both really sad. First of all, we were losing a lot of revenue for our family income, and we weren't sure

what that was going to look like.

And second of all, we had just come to this good place in our own relationship.

We worked at the same multi-specialty office.

We were together every day at work.
