Hey everybody, I want to give you another little plug here before we start our podcast.

0:05.3

Things are happening here at Bayma. This podcast is taking off and that's cool. We have amazing

0:11.9

listeners. All of you are awesome and we love you very much. But there are a lot of you and that

0:18.3

group is getting bigger. There are a lot more of you and more and more and more of you. And that's

0:24.6

we're trying to figure out how to steward this thing. Well, how do we take this growing,

0:30.6

like this parabolic growth curve, this exponentially growing podcast listenership and how do we

0:36.5

steward all of you well and how do we steward what we do well and all of those things. And

0:43.0

it's really moving actually. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what it looks like for me

0:46.5

today to figure out what to do with this part of my job because this podcast is just a small part

0:51.3

of what I do every week. I spend five or 10 hours a week dedicated to this portion of my job and the

0:57.0

email load is increasing. Everything is increasing quite a bit around here. And we need to figure out

1:12.4

like we're not going to start doing some pledgethan here, the Bayma pledgethan. That's not where we're

1:18.0

headed here. I really don't want to turn this into a fundraising gig every time. But I do want to

1:22.6

put a plug in here because we have now that we've switched over to our new host, we have some better

1:27.6

stats. And we know what kind of listenership we're working with and we can see the growth curve. And

1:33.8

and we have about five to seven thousand of you that are listening to this podcast like in real time.

1:38.4

You're going to hear this podcast this week. And we have estimates for we we know how many people

1:44.4

starting episode one every week that kind of stuff. We can we can guess where we're putting an

1:50.7

estimate out there. We probably have 20,000 people listening to the podcast at any one point. But we

1:55.9

know that we have five to seven thousand of you listening right now. And and we we have not seen

2:02.3

the financial bump that one might expect with the increased listenership if that makes sense. As
