episode deals heavily with sexual harassment both in the workplace and on

social media.

We of course hope that hearing from a victim of a sexual predator will encourage

other victims and let them know that they're not alone in their experience.

This episode features two firsts for this show.

One, this is our first remote interview. I was in Los Angeles interviewing Talia from her home in New York.

And the only reason I bring that up is there's a little bit of Mike noise at about 45 minutes in,

but it does go away after a minute or two, and I'm sorry for the technical

error. Secondly, this will be the first tales from the pit with no introduction from me.

The whole goal of speaking with Talia was for me to learn more about my role in workplace

sexual harassment and amplify the voice of a victim.

So it seems kind of counterproductive for me to start with an indulgent short story about myself.

So to that end, let's get right to the interview and I hope you enjoy the conversation. Are you do you have allergies? No, I'm legitimately like, um, I got sick. I got like a chest cold and I had like a really bad cough. I wasn't able to get off of work because it was the holiday weekend.

So literally every other person who could take my shift was not in the state.

And so I had to go to work.

I think it was like Friday and Saturday,

and I just felt awful.

And now that I've had my two days off,

it's sort of like I've been allowed to get sick all over again and so that's where I met.
