This is Adam Griffin, and I'm here with my lovely wife, Chelsea Griffin.

Chelsea, have you ever helped our kids process worry or have you ever personally felt anxious?

I've never personally felt anxious. So that's super unfamiliar. No, I'm kidding.

Kind of nervous right now. Yeah, no, I think I've helped our kids process worry a lot. And it's a joy to do. I love it when our kids are honest and open up. You know, I think of a time taking my son to a birthday party and saying, you know, do you feel nervous? I just felt like he did. And he was like, yeah, I don't really know why, but I do. I feel nervous going to this party and just getting to walk through with them and just like, it's just so human to say, yeah, things scare us. We are, we're scared people in our, in our nature, you know, and thank goodness, God gives us a new nature and says, we don't, we don't have to be enslaved to anything. We don't have to be in chains. But in our very nature, a lot of things scare us. Right. I would say like when kids have wild imaginations, then we grow up and think we lose them, but really our wild imaginations just become about things like worry, you know, cancer, disease, kidnappers, things like that.

We imagine just as many monsters as kids do. We just change it. That's why I'm excited. Chelsea, I don't know if you know this. I think you do because we're looking right at her. Yeah. We've already talked to her. Yeah, I have a feeling. But on today's episode, you have a feeling. We have author, Bible teacher, actress, spoken word artist, and fellow DFW Christian,

Mrs. Blair Lynn, everybody. Let's go, Blair. Blair, how are you today? I'm good. Thanks for

having me on today. Oh, we're so excited to have you on. So we are so excited to have you here and

talk with you. Will you tell us a little bit about yourself and your family and y'all's ministry?

I know you guys have been on the podcast before. Yeah, we had Shae on. Oh my goodness, Shy on not that long ago. Yeah, talking about y'all's family ministry. But will you tell us about yourself and what's going on? Absolutely. Yeah. So my husband, Shy and I, we've been married. It'll be 16 years in July.

Nice.

We have three kids, a 14-year-old, 11-year-old, and 10-year-old.

And as you said, we just moved recently to Dallas, so we're excited to be here.

I have been ministering spoken word for a long time.

I kind of am considered an OG in the spoken world. Like literally an

originator, you know? An originator, yeah, of Christian spoken word. So I've been doing that

over 20 years. And that's actually how Shy and I met. We met traveling, kept getting invited to the

same events around the country. And now, shy and I have the privilege of being able, as you guys know, to travel together and share about family worship,

which is something that's dear to our heart, something that's vital, very important right now.
