So, Bhagavad Ghiata,

We are going to start a new chapter today

and a new section of the Bhagavad Gita.

I was saying that one way of looking at the Bhagavad Gita 18 chapters

is to divide it into three sections of six chapters each.

How that is done?

So the great Adwaitic teaching, Mahavakya, the great sentence, Tatwamasi, you are that, which is the basic, the essential teaching of Adwaita Vedanta.

You can look at the whole Gita through that lens or through that prism.

It's one interpretation, I'm not saying you have to do that, but some teachers have done that, like Madhusud and Saraswati very notably.

So they say that the first six chapters are an inquiry into the nature of the I.

Who am I?

That, thou art, you are that.

So the inquiry into the nature of you.

Then we have the next six chapters from 7 to 12, which we just did,

there it is an inquiry into the nature of that.

That means God, the God of religion.

the creator, preserver, destroyer of the world,
