It’s a classic David vs Goliath set up. Planned Parenthood veteran director lives in America illegally discovers serious moral and medical problems going on at the clinic she runs. Decides to blow the whistle. Planned Parenthood brass go after her immediately by firing her, poison the well of her reputation, plant narcotics in her desk, and suddenly care about her residence status.

That’s when Mayra decided to punch back twice as hard. She sued the largest provider of abortions in the world for wrongful dismissal, against the odds, and faced down witnesses with their grim-faced attorneys.

And won.

The unanimous jury judgment awarded her $3,000,000. This is her story.
