Nice to see you. So you're an Austrian wine importer today, but originally you were cooking in New York City.

So I have different phases in my life, and I guess the wine phase started in 2003, but before that I had a restaurant in New York where obviously wine was a part of my life at that time already.

In 2000, we closed the restaurant to open a new restaurant and unfortunately 2001 changed everything and basically I was thrown off my course and plan to open

this restaurant which up to this day is not totally out of my system.

I lived across the World Trade Center and the events of that day

obviously changed everything. I lost my apartment. I was dramatized by this day. I was in the

building when both planes hit the building and buildings and I was also there when the buildings collapsed and as a matter of fact my building was also damaged and I can't believe that I actually survived this without any harm.

Ten days after that I went to Austria

because I didn't really know what to do.

My investors pulled the investment out,

so the restaurant was out of the question and I couldn't live in

the building until the end of November. I didn't really want to stay in New York at that time for many reasons. I was, I had some sort of stress from the experience and I was very disappointed that the investors pulled the money out so I was like it's time for going back to Austria and so ten days after the event I was in Vienna kissing the floor on the airport because I was kind of afraid still.

I was dramatized by every sound, by every plane flying close and I at that time did not know where my life was going and as a matter
