more money. I think frugality is boring for its own sake. I do find the pursuit

of frugality with no reward or underlying purpose attached to it, boring.

I know there are a few that love frugality for its own sake. I am not one of those people.

I mentioned a few weeks ago the idea of making more money I think sometimes we can pursue I am guilty of this we can pursue

frugality to a point where it's not worth the effort and then we have to

evaluate how else we can reach our goals.

Sometimes we can have a lot of tunnel vision attached to frugality.

How do I scrim and scrim and scrim and scrim and scrim

and scrim and scrims?

Until you're chasing pennies when you're dropping dollars.

So frugality for its own sake is boring. I love, love frugality when you're trying to get out of debt.

But even then you have to weigh it against diminishing returns.

And I don't just mean the opportunity cost of not doing something else

that would bring in more money. I mean the cost psychologically,

emotionally in your relationships, all of that needs to be weighed. I know I launched that

blog post a little bit ago that got some people riled up, some for better and some for worse.

Everything is weighed against the cost.

And there is a cost the cost.

And there is a cost to intensity

that you simply have to take into account.
