We are taking an in-depth look at the timeline of the days leading up to the 2009 disappearance of Steven Koecher, as our inaugural Nevada episode entering into the new phase of our journey. We are still KD at heart, but this is a case that is so full of mystery and intrigue, I wanted to get to it quickly. On December 13th, 2009, Steven Koecher parked his car on a cut-du-sac at the end of a street in a retirement community in the city of Henderson, Nevada. He was capture on video surveillance walking away from his car, up the street, and he was never seen again. What happened to Steven Koecher? The theories are plentiful and we’ll touch on several of them.

0:27.0	On Stephen Coachers' final day, Sunday, December 13, 2009, there was a video surveillance camera mounted on a home located near the 2,600 block of Savannah Springs Avenue in the Overlook Village area of
0:46.1	Sun City Anthem in Henderson, Nevada, about a 20 minute drive from where I now sit. Now I'm looking on the maps and I'm under the
0:55.5	impression that I might not be able to get into the neighborhood if this is a
0:59.7	gated community. If that's the case, I may have to let driving up to the cul-de-sac go.
1:06.6	But I do plan on making my way over there just to see it.
1:10.6	The surveillance camera recorded Stephen's 2003 Chevy Cavalier heading west on Savannah Springs
1:17.7	Avenue at 1154 a.m. The street dead ends in a cul-de-sac and while many cul-de-sac usually have
1:27.2	single-family homes that encircle the dead end this particular one does not.
1:33.0	From the maps it appears there may be an access area between the two houses at the end of each side of Savannah Springs Avenue.
1:41.0	And then beyond there there's just some desert land, some dirt and a spattering of brush.
1:46.5	And it is next to this empty area not in front of any specific house that Stephen parked his car. He pretty much chose the only
1:57.0	spot along Savannah Springs Avenue that wasn't in front of a house. So that spot was specifically chosen, it appears, on purpose,
2:07.6	as to not leave his car parked anywhere where it might be in somebody's way or somebody would notice it out in front of their house.
2:16.0	And I wondered a lot about this.

2:26.7	Now as I looked at the satellite images of the street that Stephen parked on and the surrounding streets, I did notice that there were hardly any cars parked
