Hey everyone, in some other news before we get to this week's case,

Antonio Armstrong Jr. reported to prison to begin his sentence of 40 years to life on September 21st,

2023 and is now being housed at the Garza West unit in Beville, Texas.

It includes an interview with Antonio Armstrong's mother who has the obvious double burden of being related to both the victims and their convicted murderer.

This week we'll be looking at a case that went viral with shocking video footage and which recently reached a conclusion,

the successful prosecution and conviction of 17-year-old Mackenzie Charilla

for the high-speed vehicle crash deaths of her 20-year-old boyfriend

Dominic Russo and his 19-year-old friend Davion Flanagan in Strongsville, Ohio. Her social media reflected a carefree teen who posted Tik-Tocks with captions like,

I'm not even cool, I'm just one of those girls that can do a lot of drugs and not die.

Even though she was only 17 at the time of the crash, Dominic's family members said that the

pair had dated for the previous three to four years and that Schirilla had lived with their

family for much of that time.

As far as her relationship with Devion,

her mother called him a quote, new friend

when off-handedly referencing him
