And secondly, October 18th is Spirit Day.

I participate in it every year and if you don't know what it is, I'm just going to tell you

a little bit about it real, real quick.

Long-time listeners of the show know my friend

Carrie Rachel Dean she's been on a bunch of episodes but for one episode she

joined me with her BFF, Zeke Stokes, who's the VP of programming at Glad, and we talked about this a little bit so this might

sound a little bit familiar to you. So here's the deal. It's really simple.

Spirit Day is a way to speak out against LGBTQ bullying and standing with

LGBTQ youth who unfortunately disproportionately face bullying and harassment just because of their identities.

So what do you do?

Aside from just like being nice and a good person?

Wear purple.

I'm going to be wearing purple, not just because it's my hair color now,

but it's the easiest way to visibly show your support.

We're all going to come together October 18th.
