Hello friends. Hey guys, I'm going live on in Texas, which is pretty fun. So it is day one of the

Ishwish Conference, which is the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual

Health, and it's incredible. I'm so happy to be here. I just finished my yoga workout and I'm

sweating while I drink coffee.

So welcome.

These are my thoughts.

I took notes yesterday for day one.

Today's the start of day two and I hope I'll do another podcast then.

So it's a little bit ironic that I'm in Texas, which is having a lot of challenges with trans

rights right now and legalized abortions for women, right?

So kind of like oppressive to a lot of people. And I'm literally driving to this conference

in the Uber. And there's like huge signs for like X, X, X, X, X, video places and like sex stores,

like advertised up on big signs. And I'm not used to, they don't have

that where I come, I'm in Washington State. And it was just like the irony was not lost on me of like

here I am in a place that's like more than ever really challenging women's reproductive rights

and they're like blatantly advertising sex. Oh, also in the state which like totally struggles with good sex education.

That's going to be one of the lectures today at Ishwish is how to talk to your kids about

sex.

So I'll take some notes about that too.

But yeah, irony is not lost on me.

If like there's like naked people depicted in billboards about like going to sex

stores and then you don't teach your kids about sex at all or safe sex or how not to get pregnant and then you like totally limit reproductive rights. So the state's very confusing to me. But happy Texas. I did have a nice big Texas meal.
