Hi how's it going we are just back from key west usually we record the

podcast a little earlier but we are recording the podcast a couple

hours before we're going to post the

podcast so it's going to be all hashtag team chaos today on the podcast it's more

exciting and yeah so we thought we would talk about dog swimming, especially with hops, but you know, some

other dogs may get thrown in there.

And, oh, see, GR dad likes the dad jokes and sometimes they happen and I don't even realize.

You said it.

Okay, so, Golden Retrievers love swimming. Golden Retrievers are designed to swim and retrieve things.

They have webbed feet.

And tails for rudders.

And they're very good swimmers.

And I had two dogs before the current squad and I would take them to the ocean all the time and they would like run at the ocean and there'd be big waves coming in and they would like launch themselves into the air over the waves and swim until they couldn't swim.

In fact, Pye, my very first dog,

I lived by the dog beach in Chicago

and I would take her there and she could get two tennis balls so I would throw one

ball and then a second ball and she'd go get the first one and then she could

kind of chomp down and get the second one and and we played fetch for so long that she'd keep trying to play fetch, swim, swim,
