Welcome, everybody. My name is Miguel Grimaldo and I want to take a few minutes here to share my testimony with you all.

But I want to share a little bit of the back story on my life prior and how God met me where I was.

So my parents brought me to the state when I was two years old and I was raised in California

for most of my life.

I grew up in a Catholic family with Catholic traditions and around age 10 I got exposed to pornography which led to a terrible addiction for the next nine years.

It was around that time, my early childhood and early teenage years that I suffered a lot with depression, anxiety, and I had a lot of questions and doubts in regards to this so-called good God.

And it wasn't until around age 18 that I completely denied him and denied my faith in any higher force.

And the reason was because I became aware of how much evil there was in the world.

And my main justification

from my disbelief was if God is so good, why is there so much evil in this world?

And so basically I just claimed atheism during that time.

And that's when matters got worse because I started making even worse choices and hanging out

with the wrong people and got

involved with drugs and alcohol and just living the wildlife and making terrible choices which

led up to more depression, more anxiety, and suicidal thoughts as well as suicidal attempts.

So ultimately my life was a wreck, broken relationships, getting hurt, hurting others,
