We'll start with news of not one, not two, but technically three car launches.

Yesterday, Volkswagen introduced the ID3 GTX, a performance version of that, and the ID7 GTX estate or touring

version. That's very sweet. Let's get into it. We'll start with the ID3 GTX. Now, the new ID3

GTX is a hot hatch with 282 horsepower. That's upgrading to 322 in the performance variant. The ID3 GTX, the performance

version being the faster of the two. There's a naught to 62 time, that's a 0.100kPH in 5.6

seconds. That makes it VW's fastest ever, EV in terms of pure outright acceleration. To date,

steering in the ID3 GTX has been refined for sharper precision, mirroring the enhancements

akin to a golf GTI performance. The performance version includes advanced dynamic chassis control DCC for improved ride and handling by monitoring the wheel movement.

There's battery capacity increases as well for the GTX in the ID3, going from 77 kilowatt hours net.

That's usable.
