Right, we'll start with Jeep and the 27 Renegade EV.

Jeep is set to revive the renegade name in 27, transforming it into an electric vehicle, the upcoming Renegade EV.

We'll start under $25,000, though it's unclear at

this stage to me if that figure includes or not the federal tax credit. The Stalanta CEO

Carlos Tavares at the presentation addressed the pricing strategy, noting that to get $25,000

in the US will require using LFP cells,

currently neither Jeep nor Stalantis, the parent company, can manufacture these cheaper battery

cells domestically, which could complicate things with the federal tax credit.

Well, the Renegade's reintroduction is part of a broader shift in Jeep's lineup. The Jeep

Waganier S, their first EV, will launch by the end of the year, and the Wrangler-sized recon

EV should get its launch sometime this year. Let's talk about Smart, and if you haven't

recalibrated your brain about what the smart brand is,

here's another chance to do. So I'm constantly needing to remind myself that the smart brand,

smart cars, are no longer just two and maybe four-seater small city cars. Because the smart,

as I think I have to call it, hashtag five, and I hate doing that because it's genuinely a terrible name.

You'll never say to your friends, oh, I've bought myself a hashtag 5. Just call it the Smart 5 anyway.

It is a mid-size electric SUV hitting the market with four different configurations.

The Smart 5 marks a big shift in the traditional focus on compact cars, and its top spec, it'll
