This is the rant.

That was a fun day of football, huh?

That was wild. How many kicks got blocked yesterday? That had to have been a record, right?

It was like two kicks, return for touchdowns, too, in the span of seeming like five minutes.

One of them to win a game, the other one to almost win a game. Pretty awesome stuff.

Hey, like we do here on Mondays, I'm going to roll through a stat from each game to paint a picture, use the stat to decipher one thing or another.

Sometimes it reinforces what we think.

Other times, maybe goes contrary to what we think.

So let's get right into it.

I will actually start with the Thursday

game, though, since I really didn't get an opportunity to talk too much about it with you, the podcast

audience. My number is 14. 14 is the number of snaps Ollie Gordon played. Now, because he scored a

touchdown early in the contest, it was very visible his presence in the game, very early in the

contest. But because of that,

I'm getting the sense that people think his role was a lot larger than what it really was.

Like compare it to Devani Chan. He had 48 snaps. He played 78% of the snaps. Gordon played 24%.

That is a starter and backup. That is not a timeshare, certainly not a committee because

Jaylen Wright didn't even play in this game and we'll see what happens going forward.
