This is the final countdown.

You've always been a mortal combat woman haven't you?

Sure I have.

Love those fights.

Well this is kind of a book into David's life.

So let's just go ahead and jump into it.

This comes from 2nd Samuel Samuel chapter 21 if you're reading along in the car

It's not dangerous at all

David has lived a long rich life Corrine. It's almost played out like a blockbuster movie.

The young innocent boys thrown into an adventure that rips him out of his hometown and throws

him into a much larger world.

With confidence in the Lord's ability to provide him with victory,

this boy stands off against a giant and he slays him.

From there, David's adventure becomes only more epic.

It's filled with victories and failures, joy and tragedy.

But at the end of the day, it's a life that's devoted to God.

It's a life of a man after God's own heart.

He's a hero. Perpetually in our minds is the brave boy, brave enough to face down a giant,

and today David is once again in the heat of Battle, Corinne.

He's leading his forces against the Philistines.
