Okay, listen, this week's case was particularly heart-wrenching to examine for

Jessica.

And that's because of the timing of when we worked on it, but it was mostly due to the relationship between the surviving family member that brought us this case and the deceased.

This case hits me a little differently. I lost my older brother Randy a few months ago.

Randy was my best friend all the way back to our childhood. As adults we grew even closer and we were always there for each other to laugh together,

poke fun at each other, to cry on each other's shoulders, or just to open up with each other with

complete honesty, even if we didn't want to hear what the other one had to say.

And we were fiercely protective of each other.

We always ended each conversation with I love you and he gave the best big brother bone crushing bear

hugs and the worst baby sister nuggies. I called it my big little brother because even though I was eight years younger than him

sometimes I was the big sister giving him advice about something but I leaned on him just as much
