it's so modern anymore, but it's the 1975 murder of 15-year-old Martha Moxley in the wealthy Bell Haven section of Greenwich, Connecticut.

So this is a case I've always wanted to do.

And since we started the podcast, we have gotten some requests to cover this case.

But it seemed that more recently, we've received even more requests to analyze Martha's case, which at first struck me as a little unusual for a homicide that occurred more than 50 years ago. I know it's high profile and I know that a lot of people are interested in the case, but it just seemed like just all of a sudden we started getting more requests.

And once I decided we were going to do this case and I started researching, I figured out that the likely reason was because of a recent podcast series from last year called Dead Certain, which took a deep dive into the case and I think renewed

public interest in many of the unanswered questions surrounding Martha's murder. So Martha's
