It is the August month of August, and we're so glad that you are spending your summer listening to us talk about video games.

My name is Kirk Hamilton.

I am the editor at large at kataku.com, and we are joined by the Eve to my Villanelle,

that I get to stab you with a spear? Because if so, I am on board. With a cool needle, with a

needle and thread. You get to just stab me over and over and over with that. It's going to really suck for me. It is August. I'm glad that

July is over because July is my least favorite month of the year. It's the most dull month of

every single year. It's just unmentionably hot. It's boring. There's not a lot of like game news or new game releases. And there are no

sports to watch other than baseball, which like who cares about baseball. But now we're getting into like,

we're about to get into the fall. NFL preseason is starting. Football is going to be back soon.

Game season is coming up.
