So you were a philosophy major? I was and that led into more restaurants. Almost necessarily led to working in restaurants in some capacity.

I felt good about it though. I knew why I was there if you know for no other reason.

Did you because I that's like part of the problem right?

No I mean I think I think people saw on Kirki-Gard and stuff like why I here? And do I feel good about it?

I think existential questions necessarily lead

to either pushing off of something

and going to something else or just kicking around for a while and really trying to figure out what what fits and you know what I never learned was how it was how to recognize what what I wanted once I got it so that's one of the things that led me to go through a variety of different

different positions before getting to where I am now I have that problem too in real life yeah yeah

not outside of this radio land. Like, where I know everything about everything. No, but then you would study French too. Yes.

I had started learning French at a relatively,

I guess in an American context,

relatively young age and had a good

series of French teachers in Maine

and I felt like I had a good capacity for it. I enjoyed it loved it and so it kind of led right into a college major.

I was a French and philosophy double major and a classics minor so I was you know I sealed all the doors I had to go into

restaurants after that because it's it doesn't lead into anything really aside from teaching
