Summary
This is one of those episodes that I've been after for a long time. I feel humbled and excited to bring the Hurdlers my conversation with Mindy Grossman, CEO and President of WW — formerly known as Weight Watchers. (For those who may not know about my weight loss journey, I lost 70 pounds with the help of Weight Watchers in college.) For episode 139, she's telling me about how she got to where she is today — growing up with adopted parents, graduating both high school and college early, and pivoting from the path to law school to follow her passion for business and move to New York City.
We chat about her insane career journey, from leading teams at Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren to Nike and HSN, and she shares the best advice she's received in hers. Also: Top three words she'd use to describe Oprah IRL, we discover some comical similarities between the two of us, and swap feelings on NSV (non-scale victories). Trust me: The motivation and inspiration in this episode is deep, and it will leave you inspired to aim higher and want more.
