Welcome to the show. I'm Brian Christman. I went down to HeroesCon this past weekend in Charlottet North Carolina.

I was set up in the artist Alley with other podcasters. Did a couple interviews. Some people you have who have been on the show before.

All right. It's Friday afternoon. HeroesCon, sort of a calm for now before the storm on Saturday.

Howdy, howdy. Howdy. Of the late's lamented Golden Age of Comics podcast. Right. Yeah. It's been, oh, at least a couple of years since I've podcast. That's so hard to imagine for me. Yeah, I had a lot of fun, you know. I really got into the Golden Age books and did a lot of narratives about all the great Golden Age characters and Golden Age artists and all that. and life and work and family and all those kinds of things somehow got in the way and i haven't done one in a long time

i guess you know once you stop it's like hard to get started up again and then is that sort of what

you're looking at yeah uh you know it uh just uh it's hard to hard to describe how it all ended.

But I finally, I can't remember when it was, again, a couple of years ago, posted on my blog,

but I'm just not doing the podcast anymore.

I just don't have time to do it.

And I kept the blog going for a while, but even that hasn't been updated now in almost a year,

just because, again, I've been so busy. It's a shame, because I know you came on our show many times to help us out with Golden Age Spotlights. It was much appreciated. Yeah, well, you know, that was fun, too. We hit some milestones with some of the Golden Age characters with Superman and Batman, and Batman's always been sort of my thing, you know, when it comes to the golden age.

And I had a lot of fun doing those episodes with you guys talking about the history.

And now, you know, here we are, 75 years for Superman.

And, you know, it's been a lot of fun kind of going back and revisiting 75 years of that iconic character, you know, that sort of started it all.
