Each episode, we dive into the minds of some of the worst criminals in history.

So today's case, we are actually heading to South Korea and I have never done a case from South Korea before.

And I'm not going to lie, the research was kind of difficult for this case.

So I spent so much time translating articles and videos from Korean to English.

So last year in May of 2023, a young woman, she was 23 years old, a woman called Jung Yu Jung.

She was known to be incredibly

reclusive, like she really did keep herself to herself. She basically had no interactions with

any other humans, and this all stemmed from her past trauma. And then one day, Yu-Jung suddenly

developed a massive interest in true crime. She was always borrowing true crime books

from her library. She was watching true crime documentaries and TV series. It became her escape.

It became her favorite pastime until one day Yu Zheng decided that she wanted to carry out

one of those horrendous, horrific crimes for herself.

And she wanted to, quote, murder out of curiosity.

She wanted to become one of the infamous killers that she was so obsessed with.

But the only question that remained was how far was Yu Jung going to take this?
