picking up a bit of criticism, Leslie Ann, for the last podcast on which, you know,

a few people accused you of getting a bit racier than you normally might have done, eh?

I'd just tell it like it is, Mike.

You know, if they can't take it.

I mean, the facts of life are unpalatable to some people, but I really don't understand.

We are all of the same body.

We all function the same way.

So let's not be so queasy about it, I would say.

Golly, right.

Okay, well, that's got me told.

Anyway, as this podcast is going out, it is, of course, the eightieth birthday of John

Lennon, okay? And you and I have talked extensively about John Lennon, the Beatles.

We're both great fans. You, of course, have written a book that's going to head right to the top of the best-selling charts,

who killed John Lennon.

So I suppose, A, it must have been a very busy week for you, but B, today must be a very poignant day.

It is, but I'm glad that we're celebrating what would have been John's 80th birthday,

rather than focusing all our attention later on in the year on the 8th of

December on the day he was murdered. Because I think it's much better to honour a birthday

and something positive than it is to dwell on the day that he was assassinated. That seems to be

the view of all the broadcasters as well.
