internet friend of mine who by all count had a really good job but still managed to

build an escape path out of there on the back of his hustle and his own unique authority in the space.

Now I first met Ryan Gray at New Media Expo in 2014 and when I asked him what he did he told me he was a doctor and I was

like dude what are you doing at this weird internet conference and he explained

hey I've got this authority site that I'm building, a blog and podcast over at

medical school HQ.net and I was like wow that sounds fascinating. We've run

into each other at several conferences since then and a podcast movement this summer he mentioned

he'd left the Air Force and actually taken Medical School HQ.net full-time.

So in this episode we're going to follow the ideas action and results framework to hear how Ryan first came up with the idea for this business
