Welcome to the perfume room. My son to the day today is from Foya, and it is at hem.

So I think I talked about this a few episodes ago, but a few months back, I had the opportunity

to spend over

an hour in the Fuea Soho store and really get a chance to smell through the entire collection,

which takes time because in this one brand alone, they have almost 100 offerings. As I made my way

around the gallery, there were different sense that stood out to me, but there was one that was

always beautiful to me that I kept coming back to, and that was at hem.

It is a peppery floral sandal wood, and it's gentle, and it's soft, and it evokes feelings of

flower petals and calming shades of blue, but it really is woody and cozy.

And I don't even think that there are any floral notes listed in the pyramid.

I think I talked about this when I, like right after I had gone to the foia store,

but it's an Argentinian brand.

The founder is also the perfumer.

And every scent is centered on botanicals native to South America.

So because of this, some of the perfumes didn't smell like

anything that I could necessarily place because I had never smelled the native material firsthand.

Or incidentally, it smelled exactly like something I knew, but the pyramid provided would never

have led me there. So to give you a sense of what I mean, this scent, which I'm saying is sort of

like a flowery sandalwood, the three notes that are listed for this fragrance are astro this scent, which I'm saying is sort of like a flowery sandalwood.

The three notes that are listed for this fragrance are astrocedrus, which I had to look up,

but it is a cedar tree that's native to Chile and Argentina.

So we have cedar, Norway spruce.
