Good morning my friends it is time for the morning mindset again it's time to help

you through the word of God get your mind right for this day. And today I'm actually pretty

excited about what we're going to cover because it's a passage that we are all

probably fairly familiar with. It's a verse that you often see on coffee cups, on bumper

stickers, on little plaques that people put on their walls, but I fear that too often it just is seen as a trite saying and it's not mind for the depths

and the riches that it actually holds for us that if we could understand what it says and actually believe it, the way we

live could be transformed.

And the verse that I'm talking about is Romans chapter 8, verse number 28 28 and we're actually going to cover more than

just verse 28 because the context really really matters here.

Romans 8 verse 28 says and we know that for those who love God all things work together

for good for those who are called according to his purpose.

And we're going to continue reading.

It says, for those whom he foreknew,

he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his son. In order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers

and those he predestined he also called and those whom he called he also justified

and those whom he called he also justified and those whom he justified he also glorified.

We've heard it quite often in our lives.

God works all things together for the good and we hear people say that but notice

what Paul says it's a little more than that isn't it he says we know so first

of all I have to ask you do you know in your heart of hearts is it a deep, rock solid belief that you know that God works all things together for your good because you love him and because you're called according

to his purpose.
