So I made a video, and a man felt they need to

comment on it not that kind of video get your minds out of the gutter no I made this

video like within the last couple of months I'm not entirely sure when because

time is an illusion and it was very

serious because it was a serious topic and so I brought my voice down to a lower register

and I'm talking like this partially because it conveys you know that it's a somber topic

but also because it prevents my voice from going pitchy up and down

like this. And this absolute gob sheen had the audacity to proclaim how wonderful it was to hear

my natural voice and not my performative one. No, no, that was the performance.

I brought it down to a level which is almost uncomfortable

just so that I could definitely provide the necessary information

and the tone that it required.

Like, I know I've got a weird voice, my accent sort of flips and flops here and there, and you

grow up with accents around you, you kind of fall into one and the other. And it happens,

like, to some people, I sound Scottish, to others, I sound Irish, for some I sound English,

and there was that one guy I thought I was Welsh and honestly love him. Thank you for that.

I kind of even remember his name. He works in a Jane Silent Bob secret stash. Ah, but he was lovely. Anyway,

and every now and again, people think I'm an American putting on an accent, which is like, cool, I guess.

Wonderful. I guess no one will be able to replicate me. Whatever.

Oh, speaking of the videos, I have to tell you about my new favourite thing.
