Hello and welcome back to Cult Leader. I'm your Cult Leader, Spencer Henry, and hey, I can finally share the good news I'm so excited.

Okay, so back in January, you guys know I started a Patreon per Cult Leader and with the Patreon came a new show called Obituary that I do with my best friend Madison. Each week we read really crazy obituary's. Sometimes they're just like awful scathing, some are just like funny, and some cause drama, which you'll know what I'm talking about when you start listening to it.

But basically there's a whole lot of other fun stuff we get to just like talk and just be kind of goofy and we talk about a lot of stuff like really interesting things which I know I've already mentioned on here like funeral clowns, spontaneous combustion, and then we also have a dumb criminal segment. It's all just really fun to do and I think you guys are gonna dig it. Especially if you haven't listened.

You know, I'm gonna save you the long story. Essentially we have decided to put it out as a full-on show every single Thursday. It also got picked up for the same network that Cult Leader's under, which has been amazing. So I'm just really excited and very, very grateful for all of you.

I do want to answer just some, just a quick few questions that I know have been coming up or will come up. So just to get out of the way, if you're on the $7 obituary tier right now, it will be going away at the end of the month and you will no longer be subscribed to the Patreon.

So if you'd like to join the $3 tier, it will still exist, but it's mainly used as like an archive for older Cult Leader episodes and whatnot.

If you were on the $7 tier, the merch code is included in the description for the goodbye message. We posted and I'll post one more thing just so you guys all have that for when merch does come.

Merch is coming very soon. It was actually supposed to come out last week and then it just got crazy with having to do the trailer and everything for obituary, which by the way, the trailer is live. But I'm really excited for you guys to hear it. The past six months, we've had so much fun doing obituary and I feel like we got it into this really fun place.

So it always takes a minute to like figure out your rhythm, get through your awkwardness. We're just so excited to share it with the world.

In the chaos of launching the new show in addition to just the regular chaos that is the life of a cult leader, I completely blanked on the Lori Valow chat daybell lifetime movie.

I feel like I have failed you guys miserably. I don't know how I'm going to make it up to you. Honestly, you guys don't get it.

I was like getting ready to go out to dinner the night that it came out. And I started seeing people DMing me and tagging me like, oh my god, I'm watching blah, blah, blah.

And I was like, Buh, I was like, no, I was so upset, but you know, that's how it goes. It's like when you go to the store and you're like, I need ketchup.

Don't forget ketchup. And then when you get home, you're like, fuck, I like I forgot to one thing I forgot to get. I will watch it this week. I'll share all of my insight on the next episode.

But it that's out now almost likely post up a storm on my stories when I'm watching. So you can follow along on Instagram or whatever.

But while we're on the topic of a lifetime movies, today's story has all the makings of one. It is a pretty wild ride.
