Welcome to another episode of nostalgia and now.

This, and this is your host, as always, it's Kelly Williams.

And this week, this episode is going to be a little bit different. This is probably the most vulnerable I will ever be on the internet, that I've ever been on the internet.

Even me being like blackout drunk crying on an Instagram live about Aaron Carter

dying, it's more vulnerable than that moment. And I've also promised myself since that moment,

I'll never cry on another like recorded device. But I might shed some tears on this one. We don't

know what's going to happen. But this episode is about my relationship to alcohol.

It is about me becoming California sober. I don't love the term California sober. I like saying

I'm alcohol free because I don't even know if I like deserve that word sober just because it means

so much to so many different people. And I know there are people out there who live their life not taking gummies,

live their life just completely free of anything.

So I'm going to say my alcohol-free journey.

I'm recording this on Thursday, March 26th.

And this is actually the two-year, six-month anniversary of me not drinking.

So I've gone two and a half years without any sips of alcohol.
