Vandah All right, welcome back to the Bhagavad Gita class.

There was, I know, an interruption, and I'm entirely to blame.

But we are back again, at least for a while.

We are doing the 12th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita.

18 chapters, we have started the 12th chapter.

And the 12th chapter is called Bhakti yoga.

The yoga of Bhakti, the yoga of love, of devotion.

It's a very beloved chapter. Many people begin the

Bhagavad Gita with the 12th chapter. Arjuna begins by asking a question that

you have taught us better whose yoga is better and that's how he praised it. And

Sri Krishna's answer was unambiguous.

For people who are partial to the way of knowledge, like many here,

it is difficult because Sri Krishna says the way of love is better.

The one who follows the way of love,

way of devotion, knows yoga better, is a better yogian. Why? And Krishna answers that too.

He says that for those who are embodied, embodied in the sense, everybody is embodied.

Every yogi is only because you are

embodied that you are a yogi. But those who are deeply attached to their bodily identification.

It's sort of unshakable, I am this, this body, this person, and that's it, nothing more than this.

So this one, it's very difficult,
