Speaking of surgeries, I believe that is a question you're not supposed to ask transgender people is have you had surgery or what surgeries have you have. Correct. Yeah, yeah, that you're not really. And here's why I don't like to talk about whether or not I've had it. One, I like a little mystery, you know.

I mean, yeah. I mean, now that you're a woman, that's what we're told is, you know, you have to have mystery for people to be attracted to you.

I need something to surprise someone, you know, at the end of a drunken stupor.

No, but it's, I think like for some reason, like it became normal to ask trans people about their genitals.

Like the only people on the planet you can ask about their genitals.

Right.

You know what I mean?

And there are a lot of things that go with it.

Like some trans women can't afford it.

Like they live in a red state.

Their insurance won't pay for it.

comedian, Jay McBride, about her process of transitioning.

She's a transgender woman.

I actually originally met her in upstate New York, of all places, right?

And she was the first person I ever met that was transgender.

So she came on, we talked about how, essentially how she went through

everything, how she felt going through everything, what you should and should not say to transgender

people, the correct terms to use. And also we round out the episode with a little debate

about transgender women playing sports.

And it was very, very interesting to hear her perspective and her side of things.
