Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Mormon Stories Podcast. I'm your host, Sean Delin.

It's October 30th, 2020. And we are just a few days away from the general election in the United States.

November 3rd will be the election. Many feel it's a super important election.

And this is probably the most divisive election that I've ever seen as a 51 year old US citizen.

And of course, as always, there are some fun and interesting religious themes that go along with this election.

And so I thought I would do something that some people think is crazy that other people really like.

I think we had a really productive session just a few hours ago.

But what I decided to do on Mormon Stories Podcast was to feature voters from both major candidates in the US political system.

We just spent three hours with voters or supporters for Donald Trump.

And most of them were post-mormons. We did have at least one active believe in Mormon.

And so we gave Donald Trump a good three hours. And now we're doing the other side.

We are now going to be interviewing supporters of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

And I'm really excited about this series.

I want to give some disclaimers just like I did at the beginning of the last episode.

Just so that everyone knows kind of where I stand and where I don't stand.

I am nonpartisan in the sense that I think both parties have good things, both parties have bad things.

I don't think there's one true party.

I grew up very conservative.

I voted for Republicans my first few times voting.

Love Rush Limbaugh as I was at BYU, major political science.

I did a Capitol Hill internship in Washington, DC for Republican congressmen.

While I was there, I got really disenchanted and disillusioned by the political corruption that I was seeing in DC.
