On February 8, 2005, 43-year-old Dr. Gita Angara went to work at the water treatment facility

in Totawa, New Jersey, where she'd worked as a senior chemist.

She was last seen heading toward the plant's

basement to complete a routine task. But Gita was never seen again, and hours after her

shift ended, her car was still in the employee lot and her coat was at her desk. No one could

explain where she had gone. After an extensive search, her body was eventually found inside one of the facility's massive water tanks.

Investigators determined that she had been assaulted and then drowned.

More than 20 years later, no one has ever been charged, and the investigators are still searching for her killer.
