vocation. He is at the end of his journey, kind of the final lap before ordination to the Holy

priesthood as a Dominican and he's going to tell us that story. Brother Brad

welcome back. Thank you, thank you. And as we were getting ready for the show and just kind of testing our sound,

he noticed that there's an electric drum set back there.

That's my son Jude and I remembered he he had played for a band and played

jazz and played the drum kit so and you toured you're about to tell me yeah yeah

before I entered for my answered the vocation to the priesthood, professionally I was a drum set player.

And I played drums professionally in Los Angeles, California.

By training, I did a lot of jazz drums.

I actually studied at the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music,

studied jazz, and then went out to Hollywood

to see if I could get in kind of the music industry.

And because I was a younger guy in Hollywood,

I ended up touring a lot with some rock bands out of there out of the city and stuff.

So that was a lot it was a lot of fun.

And then finally I was when I was 27 years old I I heard the call very clearly and so then I had to answer the call so I left that world and entered
