Today we're joined by the owner of Jim Shock, Ben Francis, an owner of a company worth

0:08.3

over a billion dollars.

0:10.5

When I first went to the Jim at 16, I was so self-conscious, I was the skinny kid and I

0:21.2

would go in and I'd do a bicep curl or a bent press and I'd think, oh my god, everyone's

0:24.6

looking at me and I'm doing it right, I'm going to do it right when I left it in a

0:27.0

1:10.6

but to you it could be the most important thing in the world particularly in that moment.

1:14.3

Basically our website crashed on Black Friday and we were charging people that we didn't

1:18.5

know were meant to have stuff, we were sending out stuff to people that hadn't had their

1:22.0

card charge, it was everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong. That was really,

1:26.0

really tough. You guys had a bit of a sticky moment earlier in the year.

1:31.0

Imagine a brand supporting body positivity and black lives matter bothering you. So you

1:34.6

have some comments like this, what about Blue Lives? And Jim Shark had commented back.
