Summary

On October 11, 1975 television sketch comedy experienced a seismic shift as NBC's Saturday Night made its premiere. Over the course of it's first five seasons, characters were created and stars were made, kicking off a cycle that continues over 40 years later. Looking back at that original five years, which of the comedy legends in that cast was the best? Enter Dave Thomas, a comedy legend in his own right, who was often there visiting his friends and would later work with Lorne Michaels himself.
