All right, I am joined with Joe Killinger out of L.A., a commercial broker powerhouse.

0:20.3

We're so excited you're here with us today. How are you doing?

0:23.1

Thank you, Christine. I appreciate you having me on.

0:26.2

Yeah, let's start from the beginning. As I was telling you before we hit record, we have a lot of

0:30.4

residential agents, but you're in the commercial space. Talk about your real estate journey.

0:34.6

Did you go straight into that? How did you get into this crazy world?

0:37.8

I was in residential once. And it just wasn't my cup of tea, more of a numbers guy. And I like

0:45.1

structuring the deals. And I tried it for a while. Then I got an opportunity. I came from

0:50.4

real estate auction. So I'll kind of give you my background here real quick. So my name's Joe

0:54.0

Killinger. I hate saying a real estate entrepreneur, but I guess that's kind of got my fingers in a lot of different buys. We have commercial real estate affiliate network that I'm a partner in.

1:11.9

1:21.7

different. The first one was an auction company, no internet. That was strictly cold calling, right?

1:26.9

So you can imagine how that was.

1:28.3

And then the second one was through residential agents, working out referral fees with them.

1:33.3

I was came into a residential real estate firm, DBL realtors in Los Angeles. It's now Sotheby's here.

1:40.3

And we just reached out to all the residential agents saying, hey, we're doing this commercial

1:44.6

division, bring me referrals. You'll start flooding in. I learned how to qualify really quickly.

1:50.5

And then the last one is the one we're in, Commercial Brokers International. We actually have a

1:53.9

commercial broker's company. I'm in the studio. We built a studio for all of our agents to use

1:58.2

to create content. So which residential agents are way ahead of

2:02.3

commercial as far as the marketing. But, you know, we, we do a lot. I focus a lot with Joe Kellinger.
