Welcome back to the Lincoln Project. I'm your host, Reed Gailan. Today, I'm joined by my fellow co-founder

of the Lincoln Project, host of LP TVs, The Breakdown, and author of The New York Times best-selling

Hey, Reed, how are you? Great, and so glad to have you back, as always. Today, I want to talk a

little bit about Mitch McConnell's Blues. Some of these races feel like they're lining up to be

like 2010 for him. But first, class is in session. Today, we're talking politics 101, and more specifically,

what Democrats must do to win in 2022, or at least give themselves the shot to win in 2022.

So let's get to it. You know, one of the things I think, Rick, you, throughout your career,

you have a reputation as being one of the hardest-hitting creative minds in politics. But going into

2015, you were the tip of the tip of the spear on understanding what it was, that not only what

Trump was, but how you were going to have to fight it, and it took the rest of us three or four

years to catch up. But a couple of weeks ago, we had Trigby and Jeff on the show to talk about the

different races that we're looking at, and that we're targeting for 2022. And the importance of those

races play in keeping, you know, American democracy alive and writing the small D-Democratic future
