Hey David! Hey Katie! You know we're coming off our Show, which is one of my favorite system utilities, and we get a lot of email from people saying about, oh, you know, you guys talk about great utilities, and I spend a lot of money, and so we just kind of thought we might build on that.

Yeah, well, you know, we thought we'd talk about it.

Some of our favorite utilities that doesn't get a lot of air time and stuff that can help you make your Mac more efficient and help you get your work done.

So we started this list. There's a lot of them. Yeah, there's a lot of them. So I guess we just started the beginning right?

Yeah, and I guess we should say this is not going to be a deep dive.

I mean, we could probably do a whole show on any one of these subsections that we're going to cover and maybe we will

later so tell us if there's specific points that you're interested in. This is

designed to give you a broad overview and we're going to stick links to all of

these in the show notes.

And some of these we have done entire shows on and some of these we may never cover again.

So we're going to try to kind of attack this topic and give you as much information as we can without going overboard.

All right, so the first category and trying to kind of somewhat give these categories,

is I kind of put together a category of maintenance and security, which you don't really think that

you have to do that much on the Mac, but it's nice to keep things clean, tidy,

and organized and working well.

And I want to talk about a new app first that I picked up recently as part of the MacHeist

bundle, and that is Clean My Mac too.

And I have mixed thoughts about these types of utilities and basically what Clean My Mac is,
