Social scientists who are more conservative would just declare that, okay, well, the problem is single motherhood and that you need to be married to be good parents and you need to have a mother and a father.

And they jumped straight from, okay, well, instability is a bad thing, therefore marriage

of two people in a traditional way as possible.

And without actually any evidence that it was marriage or it was a man and a

woman that are the key components there instead of just stability.

Kids need stability.

It can be three big gay bear dads.

It can be a polyamorous triad it can be any number of

configurations it just needs to be a stable group of people who are

committed to the child's life and will be there and will put the child's needs above their own.
