I want to say a few words about this wonderful guy Gilbert here. This is a wonderful man, not just because he does things about impressions.

Of course, naturally, I have a kinship with my colleagues of other mimics, but he's also a great comedian.

But he was good in everything. I'm just remembering different things where you did impressions where you didn't even do the words.

You went, hmmm.

Now, that's something I never heard of before. I thought that was very original, terrific.

Well, over the years, of course, as a mimic, you tried different things, and we're always trying to be different.

And I started out, I was not a voice mimic originally. I was a face... Of course you can't see, but I would make the face of Charles Lawton, and I made the face of Jack Benny, and I made the face of Clark Gable.

And that's how I got started. But then later on, when I started my jobs, there were many of them on radio, because when I started, there wasn't that much TV going.
