I am Father Joseph Anthony Kress and today I am

joined by Father Jacob Bertrand Jansick Opey of course but for the Jacob Bertrand

how is your day going today? What's happening with you?

Things are good. I don't know. I can't remember this is like, you know, breaking the third wall here.

I don't remember when this episode actually airs but today we're

recording. I have a vocation weekend this weekend so our first of the spring semester which is great to have men come spend a weekend at the House of Studies, get to, I guess, sort of see our life, spend a weekend with us, enter into our sort of the rhythm of life, prayer meals, rec.

They have a handful of talks on Dominican life, get to chat and hang out with some of the,

with the student brothers and that sort of thing.

So yeah, it's exciting.

We have two in the fall, two in the spring, so semesters at least so this is the first and of the spring semester and then another in April

But yeah so kind of vocation-packed weekend which is yeah, it's nice. It's fun so what about yourself and by yeah by rec you mean recreation

not like wreck like W R E c k like that's correct yeah the Lord which will also is

part of our hope and prayers that the Lord just wrecks their hearts and all that fun stuff.

Yeah. But a little inside Dominican slang for you. Rec refers to recreation, but everything's good. So for our

listeners, yes, whenever this airs shoot up a few prayers for those men

discerning vocations and those men that have to essentially have to work with

a public Jacob Birch and through all of this one stuff.

Hilarious.
