I am really excited about today's episode.

We are going to be talking all about reinvention, reinventing yourself.

Today I'm going to be sharing my own story of reinvention.

And four powerful lessons that I've learned. So, um, settle in, get a little mug of something

yummy to drink because Miss Adi's going to do a little storytelling today. I, um, could start at a lot

of different places, but I think for purposes of today's discussion

and to help you think about your own life as much as you can, I'm not going to go back so

far. I feel like I've had several reinventions. But I'm going to start with when I decided to give up my

practice as a family doctor.

So a lot of you know that I went to medical school to become a family doctor and practiced

for about seven years, eight years, something like that. When I first got out of medical

school, was actually pregnant with my baby Emmy, who is the beautiful coach in training who edits

our videos. So, love you, Miss M. I was pregnant with baby Emmy. And so I, the first job that I took

out of medical school was at an ER. And I worked at the ER for two years while I had Emmy.

And her baby sister, Ellie, who's now almost 21. And I decided after a few years of, I did that in the ER for a while,

and then I joined my husband's multi-specialty group and practiced family practice for a few

years. And then as the kids got older, Emmy was having some really bad meltdowns after school, and I started feeling this nudge to stay home.

My older kids, Taylor and Katie, were in sports all the time, and I just started feeling the nudge to come home.
