We are talking about stress, productive stress and unproductive stress. And this is a concept that I think is really important to

0:14.5

understand because for a while the whole like never spike your cortisol thing was

0:20.9

really popular and never stress your body and I think that really

0:25.2

pushed people towards low impact workouts that were less stressful on their body

0:30.3

however I also think that there was a swing to not stressing your body enough and people

1:24.4

and unproductive stress and we're going to relate this of course to exercise and I'm

1:28.9

sure you could also relate this to like mental and emotional stress because what's

1:32.4

really interesting is emotional stress because what's really interesting is

1:33.5

emotional stress and physical stress have similar manifestations in your body so

1:38.7

when your body senses a stressor whether it be a stressor from exercise or whether it be an

1:44.9

emotional stressor, like you almost get in a car accident and you feel that like
